![]() ![]() ![]() Simply play the Song of Storms and he is history. Walk forward and you'll meet Sharp, the other Composer Brother, who tries to put you to eternal sleep. Around here you'll also find Tingle, where you can buy a map for 20 Rupees. At the top you'll find an Owl Statue to activate. Afterwards, hookshot your way to the top. Use your Ice Arrows to make them serve as stepping stones to the other side of the river. Simply follow the path avoiding the large boulders until you arrive. Put off the Garo's Mask afterwards unless you like perpetual mini-boss battles. The wandering spirit will make a tree appear which you can use your Hookshot on to get to Ikana Canyon. Now, return to the valley, go to the large cliff and put on the Garo's Mask. The race itself is rather straightforward and shouldn't be hard. Talk to the Gorman Bros' on horseback and they will challenge you to a race for 10 rupees. Get back to Milk Road, and follow the road that branches off to the left. Read his tombstone to learn the Song of Storms:Īt this point, you still cannot get to Ikana Canyon. Once the Iron Knuckle is gone, Flat, one of the Composer Brothers, will appear. If all this is too difficult, bombs work against this guy as well. A few more slashes will get rid of him for once and for all. In this stage you might find it the easiest to simply stab him repeatedly. His axe hurts a lot, so avoid it at all costs! Evade his attack, slash at it (as human Link,) get away, rinse and repeat. In the next room you'll have to battle an Iron Knuckle. To open the door, light up the three torches with Fire Arrows. Dispose of them any way you like and a chest will appear (it contains 50 Rupees). Once there, follow the straightforward path and you'll come across a room full of bats. Put on your Captain's Hat and you'll be able to speak to them, command them to open the grave and then jump in. You'll see a group of Stalchildren walk around a grave. Use your Hookshot to get to the chest and open it to claim the Captain's Hat. Once he is defeated, the flames around the treasure chest at the top will disappear. Slash him any way you like and he should be defeated soon. He will either try to attack you directly, or attempt to jump onto you. Once you slash him once, the real battle starts. You can shoot Fire Arrows at Skull Keeta to stun him shortly. On the way, flame walls will stop your progress, and you'll need to kill the Stalchildren to progress. Skull Keeta runs away, and your job is to follow him. Play the Sonata of Awakening to enter a battle. Go right to the very back and you'll notice a large skull. Thanks for watching! I used the same setup in this video as in the Singing Mountain cover that was uploaded almost a week before this cover. This is the problem of owning over 4 guitars and having sweat that's basically kryptonite. I used more of my new Fender Stratocaster for this cover because it's the only guitar other than my 7 string which has strings that aren't completely rusted brown, also because I've run out of sets of strings for my guitars. The outro was created by taking the intro sounds and reversing them (except for the "screeching slides"). I used more of my slide for this cover, to create the spooky sound effects in the intro and outro. Could be a ghost forest, a haunted ship, a cemetery, a hell stage or whatever :)"Īnd I think Ikana Valley fits the bill quite nicely. Could be also songs from non horror games but including a horror based part, stage or whatever. The 2nd CD will contain songs from more light games but still related to horror, as Castlevania or even more funyn games like Luigi's Mansion or Medievil. The 1st CD will contain songs from real Horror games, such as Resident Evil or Silent Hill, but also scary survival games (Dino Crisis.), horror action/RPG (Parasite Eve.) or even FPS (Doom.). ![]() This is the layout of the album, quoted directly from the subreddit: This song will go onto the second CD of the album. This cover was done as my contribution to the VGCovers subreddit's first album, titled "The Horror Album". Please watch this video in full HD and with a decent set of headphones or sound system if possible! ![]()
